Firstly, happy children day to everybody! Today is the 1st of october and it is the children day, however it is also the national day of china. Whats more, their national day holiday is 7 day as compare to ours is only 1 day. Although today is not our national day, but i am still happy for them, seeing many of the little kids holding their small national flag, enjoying their national day and this is also the first time i am in other country experiencing their national day.
By the way, as for today, since today many of the local students have holidays and they went back to their hometown, the backgate of the hostel will be temporary close.
This makes it very inconvenient for us, because this is the gate that is link to the back street behind hostel. So now we need to go one big round in order to go to the streets behind our hostel. Attended morning lesson and have our lunch after our lesson.
At the night, we went to have our dinner at macdonald! Though is macdonald, but their set meals are all different from the ones we have in singapore. Yea so we all enjoy our MACDONALD.

After that, since is friday and we do not have classes for tomorrow, we all decided to go to KTV. We went to a nearby KTV and we went in. Guess what? We were taken to level 4 and the whole level is only us occupiying it, well i guess maybe is most of the people are going back to their hometown, thats explain why they do not have many customers.

Overall, it is really fun. Its been a long time since singing aloud. After the singing session, we headed back to the hostel and have a good rest because tomorrow we have to walk long because is shopping time tomorrow! Bye!
My reflection
This is the first tme that i am in overseas that experience the country national day. To a country, their own national day symbolises alot, the day that the country is being form. Their celenration is different from us, lots and lots of fireworks and firecrackers are being put up. Most of the people will gather to a place call the ' Tian An Men". They will get to watch performance and some national day song. In singapore, we will try to get tickets to watch the national day parade so as to celebrate our national day. Every citizens love their own country very much, and i do miss singapore at times, i am here in china more than 15 days which is equal to more than half of the trip. Singapore, home i miss you!
