Tour around the cruise and 3 gorges. It was long time ago where I last sat on a cruise. Though this cruise is not superstar virgo or what, but is better than nothing. It was around 12.30pm when all of us set off for our cruise trip. It took us around 4 to 5 hours before we reached Yi Chang and have our dinner.
After dinner, we finally headed to the pier to enjoy our cruise trip. We were given some time to settle ourselves and were show to our room. At the deck, Due to some delay we only manage to capture the first lock at around 10 plus. Most of us were pretty excited about it and so we decided to capture the 2nd lock which we would reach at 1 plus 2 am, it was said that the 2nd lock would be of 5 storey high. It’s the first time I have seen the locks, other than that is just picture from the internet. Happy to finally get to see the real thing. However it was pretty dark out there and so most of the time we were only looking out for houses and the weather was freezing cold.

Second day of the cruise trip. Woke up early and ate our breakfast before going around for sightseeing. During the noon we were told to report at the deck of the cruise to have a view of Shen Nu Xi. Next, we were told to transfer to smaller boats where we would get a better view of the Gorges.

After taking picture and tour around the place, we headed back to the cruise to have our lunch. We manage to have a short break of an hour after our lunch before going to out next destination, Bai Di cheng. Over there, we had to climb around 400 steps of stairs before we were able to reach our final destination. Although there’s a little drizzle, but it did not affect us.

After the tour, we headed back to the cruise and had our dinner. After dinner, it was our free time so most of us spend our time watching movie, playing cards and mahjong together.
The third day of the cruise. We alight from the cruise and we headed to early tour around San Xia. We were brought to 3 different areas where we were being introduced about San Xia.

grand finale, mass group potos of ngee annHeaded back to our hostel after 3 days of cruise trip. Before we went back, we went to a high class hotel and have our lunch. After a few hours of bus trip, we arrive back to our hostel, zzzzz have a nice sleep after everything.
My reflection
During these 3 days trip of seeing gorges, I felt that china do have a lots of attractions that looks very beautiful. Through this trip, I get to know more about china history and it origin. Special thanks to the tour guide that bring us through the 3 gorges and is a pity though through building this dam, they sacrifice a lot of stuff, 1.3 millions of people and villagers have to relocate from the place that they live. However, without this huge dam, there will more people die because of the flood every 5 or 6 years.
In conclusion, this dam have brought both advantage and disadvantage to the people living here, whatever it is the fact is the dam is already been build and life have to carry on as per normal, and I truly wish that the villagers living there have a peaceful life in the future.
