Morning lessons as usual, we learnt about leadership and we were shown two movies, after which we were ask to write about the leadership skills shown respectively in the two movies and a mixture of our own reflection.
BBQ time! We had about not more than 40 minutes to prepare ourselves before we set off for the BBQ with the local students. We were really thankful that the local students actually got most of the food prepared for us, they did the purchasing of food and they carried all the way to the hostel so that they could fetch all of us to the BBQ area as we do not know exactly where the place is.
While walking to the BBQ area, we have lots of fun and laughter because everyone is so relax and all of us joke around. The place of the BBQ area was much further compared to where we used to jog, walking down the pathway, walking with each other and the local students, though the weather is quite cooling, but I just feel warm. =DD
Reached the BBQ area and everyone is so excited about it. We had a cloth set aside for all our bags and we had food set aside on different tables. Everybody started to help each other and some of us handle the vegetables and some of them do the meat. There is also non-BBQ food, with some snacks and chips and drinks corner where everyone helps themselves with.

After hours of BBQ, we decided to explore the place behind the BBQ area which we found that there are a lot of leisure games and sports available for us to play. We decided to start off with basketball and we play match among ourselves. Super fun!!!!!! Next we went on to play badminton, pool and table tennis. Last but not least, thanks Sheila for teaching me how to serve badminton. Haha thanks teacher.

After playing and enjoying ourselves for a few hours, we decided to head back to the hostel because the sky is getting dark and there are no lamps along the pathway. Hope that we will still have chance to come back next time with the local students.
My reflection
I realized that the way they BBQ in China is kind of different from the way we BBQ in Singapore.
In Singapore, we are used to having BBQ in the night, but over here in China, they have their BBQ in the afternoon. Also in China, when they BBQ they would add in lots of seasoning like salt, chili powder, oil and seasoning powder, well it might be because they prefer food with heavier taste. Their BBQ pit is also very different from us; of course when they start their fire is also very different from us. We would use fire started and add in charcoal, but for them they will start to burn some branches and then add in charcoal. This is something new for us and we can take note of. I enjoy playing with the local students, they know almost all kind of sports, for me I believe that exercise can help to relieve stress and you will feel much happier.
